* This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.
About you and this role
As the High Purity Water and Industrial Gases and Utilities Distribution (IGUD) Senior Production Engineer for Diamond Infrastructure Solutions
, you will work with a high functioning team to ensure safe and reliable operation of the assets. Assets include Demin Water Production, air compressor stations, steam, condensate, nitrogen ammonia and fuel gas. You will also partner with the maintenance, reliability, improvement, and EH&S functions to continue to maintain/improve asset performance.
In this role, you will serve as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the operations team leveraging their problem solving skills and technical expertise.
- Elevates and appropriately applies knowledge of the plant and technology referencing historical data and conferring with Technology Center or other subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Ensures Most Effective Technology (MET) is understood and utilized and that process automation is used as a tool to optimize plant performance.
