Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a EHS Technician role located in Las Pinas, Philippines.

This role shares responsibility for the implementation of the EHS&S management system, in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate. Provides hands‑on environmental, industrial hygiene (IH), and health and safety (H&S) activities for a specific plant. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

• Implements detailed, task level, day to day EHS&S programs, utilizing the EHS&S work process, standards and procedures.
• Ensures that the Environmental, IH, and Health, Security and Safety aspects of operating discipline are adequate and applied to achieve EHS&S performance goals. In most cases, would perform the role of section owner for the EHS&S sections of operating discipline.
• Acts as the Plant resource for related EHS&S information on procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH and Health, Security and Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EHS&S related tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EHS&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs/coordinates certain Environmental, emergency equipment inspection, and IH monitoring, data collection, analyzing and reporting for the Plant.
• Manage and trains contractors on company’s EHS&S requirements
