Line Cook

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook at Mama Cimino's, located in Freeport, IL. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, ensuring proper food handling and storage, collaborating with kitchen staff for meal preparation, assisting with inventory management, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

The Line Cook will play a key role in ensuring an excellent dining experience for customers.

• Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment usage
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food storage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow recipes and company standards accurately and efficiently
• Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary certification or relevant culinary training is a plus
