Industrial Electrician – 3rd Shift
Location:
Freeport, IL

The OpportunityThe Industrial Electrician will test, install, program, assemble, maintain and repair electronic equipment and components of processing operations at the plant.
Duties / Responsibilities- Operation of electrical test equipment including voltmeter, megger and amprobe
- Installs and performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on motor control and lighting systems using wiring schematics
- Control system troubleshooting including PLC control using wiring schematics
- Understand AC motor/VFD theory
- Basic understanding of NEC codes and NFPA 70E requirements
- Basic knowledge of medium voltage (4160 VAC) operations and troubleshooting
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience with electrical control circuits
- Industrial troubleshooting experience on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
