• Facility Setting: Acute Care – Telemetry Unit (18 beds)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights )
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation
• Orientation: 2 shifts (12 hours each)
• Charting System: Meditech
• Scrub Color: Any color

• Active Illinois RN license (required for submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (2+ years preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required for telemetry nursing jobs)
• Phlebotomy skills preferred
• Experience with post-cath lab recovery (femoral/radial) and stroke care highly valued
• Proficiency with cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Heparin)
• Ability to float to ICU, Med/Surg, and ER within scope as needed
• Disclosure of all previous employment at any FHN Memorial location required

• Deliver direct patient care for telemetry patients, including those with stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-heart cath recovery
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; sign off on telemetry strips
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips per clinical protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including CNAs and monitor techs
• Float to ICU, Med/Surg, and ER as required within nursing scope
• Document patient care and assessments accurately in Meditech EHR
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training
