Shifts (2 openings) - Saturday availability required.

1st – 7:30am-4:00pm AND

3rd - 11:30pm-8:00am

Our Freehold, NJ Plant is looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to be part of our growing team. People that take the initiative and action to pursue production line goals and complete tasks. People that are thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks. • Sets up production equipment to run scheduled production
• Discusses difficulties in operating equipment with machine operators to isolate problems and then troubleshoots machine to determine cause and repairs required.
• Must be able to read and follow directions as found in technical manuals as well as be able to document any and all changes they are involved in so as to refer back to the notes and records thereby gain understanding as to how to set up lines and adjust machines and conveyors as needed.
• Performs necessary repairs on equipment to keep it in top running order.
• Must be able to perform major mechanical overhauls of some packaging equipment
• Carries out required preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assists in determining required design modifications and makes approved modifications to equipment.
• Performs tasks in accordance with approved procedures and following all safety procedures and GMPs
• Provides coverage for mechanics on other shifts, as needed.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting.
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 4 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and walk for periods of time
• Able to work scheduled overtime or shift changes when required
• Able to lift to 50 pounds periodically throughout the manufacturing shift and meet physical requirements of position including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, reaching with both hands/arms, ability to visually inspect product
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skill set (verbal, written, etc.)
