Requirements:
* Two years teaching experience with Strong Knowledge of NJ Teaching Standards
* Elementary/Middle School experience teaching in a self-contained setting (MD, Autism, Emotional Regulation Impairment, Intellectual Disability)
* Experience with developing programming and development of student programs for evidence based learning strategies
* Experience in developing and applying behavioral techniques within the classroom setting (behavior plans, functional assessments, and reinforcement strategies)
* Understanding of Special Education programs, modifications, and accommodations
* Crisis training preferred
* Demonstrate strong speaking, writing and interpersonal communication skills
* Work cooperatively with subject area teachers
Salary:
Salary Guide Step 1: BA $56,947 MA $59,363 MA+30 $ 61,779
* Salary will be prorated

The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a Pre-K 8 District in Monmouth County, NJ with a diverse student population of approximately 1,600 students. The district is comprised of two elementary schools and one middle school. Eighth grade school students are sent to the Freehold Regional High School District.
