Regional Director of Construction

Our client is a well-established company in the construction sector, renowned for high standards and commitment to excellence. They are currently looking to add a Regional Director of Construction to their team.

$150k - $200k Based on experience + Bonus

The Regional Director of Construction will lead and oversee all construction operations within an assigned geographic region, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves strategic, operational, and financial leadership across multiple branches and a close partnership with Sales, Design, and Operations teams to drive growth and operational excellence.

• Oversee construction divisions within the region, ensuring consistent operational standards and quality.
• Align divisional goals with regional and company objectives.
• Enforce safety, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Manage regional and divisional construction budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets.
• Approve estimates, contracts, and major change orders.
• Monitor job costing, labor efficiency, and margin performance.
• Oversee large, complex, or high-risk projects to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and client specifications.
• Resolve escalated issues related to schedules, staffing, budgets, and client satisfaction.
• Maintain consistent quality control standards.
• Support hiring, training, and succession planning.
• Maintain relationships with key clients, developers, homebuilders, municipalities, and contractors.

• 10+ years of experience in construction, including leadership across multiple project types or divisions.
• Proven experience managing multi-location and multi-division construction operations.
• Strong financial and operational acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.

• Experience overseeing Residential, Commercial, Home builder, and/or Public-sector construction projects.
• Knowledge of public works bidding, compliance, and municipal contracting.
• OSHA 30 certification or advanced safety leadership experience.
• Experience with construction ERP, estimating, and project management software.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
