Bookkeeper​/Office Manager

We are an established law firm in Freehold, New Jersey seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Office Manager to join our team. This role includes a structured training and transition period, as our long-time bookkeeper prepares for retirement.

This position oversees both the firm’s financial operations and day-to-day office management and works closely with the partners and staff.

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
• Management and reconciliation of attorney trust (IOLTA) accounts
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Monthly bank and trust reconciliations
• Coordination with the firm’s outside accountant

• Oversee daily office operations
• Manage vendors (IT, phone systems, copiers, office supplies)
• Coordinate staff schedules, PTO tracking, and on-boarding paperwork
• Maintain administrative workflows and internal procedures
  
  Serve as a point of contact for operational issues

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Law firm and trust/IOLTA accounting experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Quick Books
• Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail

Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience
