A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Bergen County, NJ is searching for a Senior Accountant who will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet and P&L account analysis to ensure financial integrity and prepare related journal entries, including support for inventory and manufacturing-related accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as internal reporting packages.
- Assist with quarterly Balance Sheet flux analysis for senior management review.
- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations, including intercompany transactions and operational teams within the manufacturing environment.
- Support accounting for inventory activity, cost allocations, and production-related transactions as needed.
- Work with internal and external auditors on quarterly and year-end audits, providing requested documentation in a timely manner.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen processes and increase efficiency.
- Participate in the implementation of system improvements that enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of financial reporting.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Controller, Accounting Operations, or department leadership.
Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA a plus
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
The total compensation range for this opportunity is $85,000 to $95,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
