Business Development Manager – Small Parcel + LTL

Scope of Role:

  • Identify, contact, and convert new business opportunities through consistent prospecting and client engagement.
  • Present and sell company solutions to new and existing customers, supporting retention and long‑term growth.
  • Stay informed on evolving market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs to deliver customized solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales data in the CRM system and generate timely reports on performance and pipeline activity.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager for strategy alignment, coaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate pricing, onboarding, and operational requirements across internal departments to ensure service excellence.
  • Meet and exceed defined weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales experience within the courier, logistics, or transportation sectors is preferred.
  • College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Proven track record in B2B outside sales and revenue generation.
  • Self‑starter with high integrity, resilience, and results orientation.
  • Skilled with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
