Position Summary

• Must be available Days, Evenings and Weekends.
• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold‑chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; slices and prepares merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and provides requested assistance.
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepare deli food orders, meats, cheeses using slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; fill prepared salads and side dishes for display area and specialty orders from customers as required.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
