Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework for a government client. This role focuses on aligning IT strategy with business goals, establishing governance, and supporting large-scale modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement enterprise architecture framework

Define business, data, application, and technology architecture

Align IT strategy with business objectives

Develop technology roadmaps and architectural standards

Establish governance frameworks and best practices

Conduct application portfolio rationalization

Identify process improvements and automation opportunities

Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure system integration, security, and compliance

Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership

Nice to Have:

Experience with technology roadmaps

Application portfolio rationalization experience

Process improvement and automation experience

Experience with emerging technologies

Government or regulated environment experience

Work Environment:

Hybrid role with occasional onsite work in Fredericton, NB

Mandatory Requirements:

Fluency in English and French

15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in architecture roles

7+ years of enterprise architecture experience

Experience in business, data, and application architecture

Strong experience aligning IT strategy with business goals

Experience establishing architecture governance frameworks

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
