Our client is currently seeking an Azure Cloud Specialist to join their Cloud and Data Center team. This role is a collaborative and hands‑on position supporting the full lifecycle of cloud and infrastructure services that enable business and operational requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal technical teams to design, implement, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring system reliability, performance, security, and compliance in alignment with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available
- Deploy and configure Azure services including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and identity services
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, and/or Terraform
- Monitor Azure environments using alerting, logging, and performance monitoring tools
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Implement automated recovery and availability strategies
- Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization
- Maintain security, governance, and compliance
Remaining controls across Azure environments - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3–8 yrs of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration roles
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Active Directory (AD) and AD Federated Services (ADFS)
- Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
- Virtualization technologies, storage solutions, and enterprise backup systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage changing priorities
- Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Azure Associate
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
