We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Information Technology (IT) experience and a working knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) to lead complex industrial technology projects within field-based environments. This role requires a project leader who understands both IT systems and industrial operational environments, and who is comfortable working directly in plants, facilities, and job sites. You will manage projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with engineering project managers, technical teams, field personnel, and client stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and successful on time delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN

THE ROLE:

Collaborate to plan, lead, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of complex client-based projects and deliverables.

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT within OT related projects which could include industrial control systems, SCADA, PLC integrations, network segmentation, and plant-floor technologies.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources in complex industrial environments.

Act as the bridge between IT teams and operational/field teams to ensure seamless integration.

Work directly within manufacturing plants, utilities, energy sites, or other industrial facilities.

Coordinate with engineers, technicians, electricians, and operations managers.

Oversee vendor management and third-party contractors.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Drive stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Support identification and mitigation of risks specific to operational environments (downtime, safety, production impact).

Support change management in environments where uptime and operational continuity are critical.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL

NEED TO DO THE JOB:

7+ years of Project Management experience, with significant exposure to Information Technology (IT) including Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Demonstrated experience delivering projects in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, energy, or infrastructure settings.

Working understanding of OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS, industrial networks, control systems).

Solid IT knowledge with ability to bridge IT and OT environments.

Comfortable working in field environments (plants, field sites, job sites).

Strong stakeholder management skills across executives, engineers, and front-line operators.

Experience managing safety-sensitive projects and understanding of site safety protocols.

Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Active PMP certification.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
