The Opportunity  We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead cloud solution design and implementation across client engagements. This role will support public sector digital modernization by designing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure and application architectures—primarily using Microsoft Azure or AWS.
As a technical leader, you’ll work closely with solution architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to align cloud strategy with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities   Design cloud-native and hybrid architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
Provide guidance on cloud platform selection, provisioning, automation, and monitoring
Lead design and migration efforts for legacy systems moving to cloud environments
Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-optimized
Define architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, standards, and documentation
Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
Support cloud governance and compliance strategies, especially in public sector contexts
Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership to project teams
Qualifications and Experience

Required:

8+ years in IT architecture roles, with at least 3 years in a cloud-focused position
Expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS (certification strongly preferred)
Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS, EKS)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Strong understanding of networking, security, identity, and governance in the cloud
Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred:
Experience working with public sector clients and regulatory environments
Familiarity with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and migration best practices
Exposure to zero-trust security models and frameworks
Bilingual (English/French) communication skills
Willingness to travel if required
