We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Social Worker to join our multi‑disciplinary clinical team at our Fredericton clinic.

Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Services, the Registered Social Worker will be responsible for conducting intakes, case management, group facilitation, and providing therapy for individuals struggling with complex mental health conditions.
Following our rotational therapist model, you will work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes, while sharing our core values of communication, community, excellence, health, and innovation.
Client Care Accountabilities- Provide individual trauma therapy utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and/or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
- Conduct efficient and effective clinical client assessments (mental health history, risk assessment, trauma, and addictions).
- Facilitate psychoeducation groups (based on ACT, sleep education, DBT skills, mindfulness, and family support).
- Provide resource‑based interventions, case management and coordination, transition, or discharge planning.
- Assist in grounding and reflection post‑psychopharmacological treatment.
- Demonstrate expertise and skills to support clients presenting with:
- Post‑traumatic stress disorder
- Psychological injury
- Addiction
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Other mental health diagnoses
- Participate in weekly case consultations and complex case discussions with an interdisciplinary team.
- Work collaboratively with other therapists by sharing a client caseload, within a rotating therapist model.
- Communicate with other clinicians on a regular basis about issues related to client care.
- Participate in mental health promotion activities and contribute to establishing and maintaining mental health and addictions community resources.
- Ensure same‑day completion of session notes.
- Complete assessment reports in a timely manner.
- Provide reporting to third parties and community referral sources.
- Attend relevant clinical meetings, including but not limited to Work Safe NB (Return to Work) and other programs.
- Engagement in professional consults and supervision.

WHAT YOU BRING Experience- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Registered Social Worker is required.
- 2+ years of experience in mental health assessment/triage and treatment is a strong asset.
- Experience treating complex PTSD is an asset.
- 2+ utilizing EMDR or ART for treatment of PTSD is an asset, or willingness to train
- Experience treating addiction is a strong asset.
