CHALLENGE
Reporting to the Director of Business Development Support, the incumbent performs various quality assurance activities related to the current sector. Their main task is to rigorously monitor the activities of the Operations and Assisted Transaction sector to ensure compliance, efficiency, and integrity of operations. They analyze performance and risk indicators, detect discrepancies, document issues, and recommend solutions to optimize processes and reduce operational risks.

They work closely with network teams, business partners, and specialized units.

A skilled analyst and communicator, they must be able to identify areas for improvement and the source of problems. An effective team player, they must be able to build relationships of trust with network employees. The employee in question must be flexible, able to work in a constantly changing environment, and demonstrate creativity and good judgment.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in a financial institution, specifically in the Retail Financing and Operations and Assisted Transactions sectors, would also be an asset, as would experience in financial operations, compliance, auditing, or analysis. Knowledge of cooperative or banking environments would also be an asset.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of financial institution operations.

Knowledge of legislation regarding money laundering and terrorist financing.

Knowledge of legislation concerning the protection of personal information and electronic documents.

Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

Excellent command of Excel and other analytical tools.

Knowledge of banking operations, the Operations and Assisted Transactions sector, and compliance requirements.

Understanding of operational risk management frameworks.
