Collective customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail settings. The physical demands include walking, standing for up to 4 hours, frequent lifting, shelving, pushing/pulling a hand truck, climbing, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching (including above shoulder height), and continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. Items lifted typically weigh 5–40 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.

The environment is indoors, with potential exposure to cold temperatures (33–55°F). Tools used include box cutters, labels, hand trucks, power industrial trucks, stock pickers, stools, and ladders.
