Job Description

England Run Animal Hospital – Fredericksburg, VA

England Run Animal Hospital is seeking a Part‑Time Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and experienced team. We are an AAHA‑accredited practice with a collaborative environment and a strong commitment to quality patient care.

$22 per hour

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Possible weekday GP shift coverage as needed

5‑doctor small animal practice

AAHA accredited

Practice Management Software:
AVImark

Charting:
Scribe Note (SOAP‑based charting)

In‑house laboratory – all lab work run onsite

2–4 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting

Strong multitasking skills and self‑motivated work style

Animal handling and restraint

Holding patients for X‑rays

Entering charges accurately

Experience with
AVImark preferred

Familiarity with Antech

Comfortable running in‑house laboratory equipment and diagnostics

Reliable and detail‑oriented

Works well in a fast‑paced team environment

Comfortable supporting doctors and technicians during appointments and procedures

Takes initiative and adapts well to changing priorities
