Medication Technician
Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living! As a Medication Technician, you support resident care within the branch, ensuring that resident’s daily medication needs are met compassionately, maintaining dignity and allowing them to live their life to the fullest.
Starting at $19 per hour.
Evening & Overnight Shift Availability

- Full-time employees eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
- Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) eligible for voluntary life, voluntary short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability, accident, critical illness, identity protection, and cyber monitoring
- Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

- Pay available daily
- Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the Physician’s orders
- Understand and follow the Six rights of medication administration and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management
- Use the eMAR system appropriately for medication administration
- Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care
- Provide direct resident care and supervise the care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate
- Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all other team members on shift
- Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in the care of seniors
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to take additional training or education as required by specific states
- CPR and First Aid certifications required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competence in organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications
