• Pay Rate: $160,000 - $170,000 annually.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Interim Nurse Manager to oversee diagnostic cardiology operations, cardiac cath/EP labs across two sites in Fredericksburg, VA. You will partner with the existing nurse manager, reporting to the Interim Director of Cardiology Operations, to co‑manage staff, stabilize the department, optimize scheduling and lab flow, improve first‑case on‑time starts, and enhance consistency in leadership and staff/physician relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage diagnostic cardiology operations across two sites.
- Co‑manage staff with the existing nurse manager.
- Stabilize the cardiology department and optimize scheduling and lab flow.
- Improve first‑case on‑time starts.
- Enhance consistency in leadership and staff/physician relationships.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to nursing staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Active VA RN license or Compact state license required.
- Five to ten years of relevant cardiology, diagnostic cardiology, or interventional cardiology experience.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
- Self‑starting attitude and ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
- Patient‑focused with excellent communication skills.
Must be available to start within 2‑3 weeks of acceptance.
Location
Fredericksburg, VA – a historic community midway between Richmond and Washington, D.C., offering a vibrant mix of urban and rural lifestyles, dining, recreation, and excellent educational institutions.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $160,000 – $170,000 (determined by experience, education, etc.).
- Potential eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, AD&D, flexible spending account, and retirement benefits.
- Base compensation is a good faith estimate and may be subject to future adjustments.
