Thermoplastics Extrusion Line Specialist

Our Fredericksburg team on Jamison Lane depends on precise, reliable extrusion to meet customer demand. Your expertise keeps the line configured correctly, the product in spec, and the team informed—so safety, quality, and productivity stay on track.

• Own line setup: translate drawings, plans, and work orders into the right tooling and configuration.
• Keep equipment humming: monitor conditions, adjust parameters, and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Deliver quality: perform in-process checks and guide corrections to maintain consistency.
• Maximize flow: manage materials, coordinate with multifunctional teams, and follow the production schedule.
• Communicate fast: respond to shutdowns promptly and update teammates with clear information.
• Collaborate: work with maintenance to expedite repairs and with engineers/managers to build and refine SOCs and SOPs.
• Continuously improve: spot process efficiencies to reduce downtime and waste.
• Document rigorously: record production data, quality results, maintenance, and downtime events.
• Lead with safety: follow all regulations and policies; report injuries, accidents, first aid, and hazards; help identify and eliminate security risks.
• Flex as needed: responsibilities may shift based on leadership direction.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training preferred.
• 3+ years as an Extrusion Operator with hands‑on process expertise;
  Davis Standard experience is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of extrusion equipment, configurations, and key parameters.
• Comfortable with basic computer‑based data entry, monitoring, and communication.
