Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/angiography experience, ARRT certification, and BLS.
Responsibilities- Work in an Interventional Radiology department specializing in both cardiac and general IR procedures
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts starting at either 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM; day off rotates
- Average daily caseload is 25 patients
- Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral procedures, drainages, abdominal and pelvic interventions, extremity, genitourinary, vascular, and venous access, as well as LP myelograms
- Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred
- No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
- Block scheduling and RTO are at manager's discretion
- Open to first-time travelers
- Local candidates are accepted
- Duties include performing a wide range of interventional radiology and vascular procedures
- Candidates must have experience working with a variety of complex cases, including both cardiac and peripheral interventions
- Team environment with support for new travelers
- Shift is primarily weekdays with possibility of rotational day off
- Work attire and dress code details to be provided upon onboarding
- Active state license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent IR/angiography special procedures experience
- Proficiency with PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration required
- Demonstrated experience in all required IR procedures listed in job details
