Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, state license, and at least 1 year of IR experience.
Responsibilities- Work in an interventional radiology unit specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures
- Day shift, 4x10 hours per week; shift between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with a rotating day off
- Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
- Procedures performed include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, drainages, and vascular and venous access studies
- Uses Siemens equipment (preferred) and PACS system
- No floating required within scope or to sister facilities
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates are accepted
- Block schedule and RTO are at manager's discretion
- Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including peripheral studies, abdominal and pelvic interventions, and genitourinary imaging
- Team-oriented environment with support from experienced staff
- Siemens equipment experience preferred
- Applicants should expect vaccination and compliance requirements as per healthcare standards
- Current state license required if applicable
- ARRT certification required
- BLS required
- At least 1 year of interventional radiology experience
- Proficiency with PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration
- Experience with IR/angio special procedures and all listed equipment skills
