Graduates of our EMS Training Academies are offered a full-time EMT-B position with Life Care Medical Transports, a proud part of the Priority Ambulance Family of Companies, with a minimum 24-month full-time employment commitment following licensure.

- Format:
Live, instructor-led classroom sessions and labs, as well as clinical rotations - Location:
Fredericksburg, VA (On-Site) - Schedule:
Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm (times subject to change based on training schedule); one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. (40 hours per week) - Clinical Rotations: 24 total clinical hours on Life Care Ambulances
- Program Length: 8 weeks
- Certification Level: EMT-B
- Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
- Prompt testing for License upon course completion.
- Commitment to work for Life Care Medical Transports in a full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure.
- $15/hr student Wage (Upon successful certification as an EMT-B, participants will be eligible for a pay increase to reflect their new qualifications.)

QualificationsAdmission Requirements:
To Qualify, Applicants Must
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Hold a valid and current driver’s license
- Be able to pass:
- A pre-employment interview
- Pre-employment testing
- Background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening)
- Drug screening
