Project: 130-Unit New Employee Housing multifamily project

Axis Talent Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to take full ownership of a high-profile project in Fredericksburg, VA. This role will lead field operations for a $12M, 130-unit employee housing project
. This project has already broken ground and is entering the vertical construction phase of steel. With a completion date of July 31, 2026
, this superintendent will be the primary on-site leader driving schedule, quality, and safety.

• Serve as the lead field manager overseeing all site activities for a slab-on-grade, multi-unit housing project.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site crews, and trades to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage and enforce project schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct daily site meetings, inspections, and progress reports to project leadership.
• Proactively resolve field conflicts and drive solutions to keep the project on track.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, RFIs, punch lists, and project closeout.

• Minimum 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial or multifamily projects ($10M+).
• Demonstrated success managing slab-on-grade or similar large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of sitework, concrete, and underground utilities.
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to remain on-site in Fredericksburg, VA for project duration (per diem available if not local).

• Base salary: $110,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience).
• Per diem available for qualified non‑local candidates.
