Overview

Hayward Holdings Inc. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.

The person in this role will cover Virginia and Maryland with a preference to be located in Northern Virginia.

The District Technical Service Manager (DTM) provides field-based technical support for Hayward pool products and dealers. Collaborating with District Sales Managers (DSMs), the DTM develops and implements tailored local strategies, manages a network of service providers, and delivers exceptional customer and product support to drive market success.

Responsibilities
  • Local Strategy Development:
    Partner with DSMs to create and execute market-specific plans to enhance sales, customer satisfaction, and service offerings. Strategies may target specific products, customer segments, or network improvements.
  • Service Network Management:
    Recruit, train, and maintain a network of service providers to ensure expert repairs and coverage for Hayward products.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Strengthen dealer relationships through proactive site visits, technical training, and problem resolution. Address escalated issues to maintain customer trust.
  • Training & Feedback:
    Conduct targeted training sessions and provide feedback to enhance product reliability, performance, and innovation.
  • Performance Review:
    Regularly assess market strategies with DSMs, identify gaps, and adjust plans to achieve goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree or pool industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the pool industry, ideally in a field-management role.
  • Expertise in swimming pool products, repairs, and applications. Proficiency in business tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and project management.
