Overview
Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Work Tool Administrator. The Work Tool Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Construction Division Work Tool Inventory Control, including inventory accuracy, cost control and disposal of surplus items. Seeking candidates with previous experience in sales support;
Heavy equipment knowledge and mechanical aptitude preferred;
College degree preferred.
- Oversee all aspects of Construction Division Work Tool Inventory Control, including inventory accuracy, cost control and disposal of surplus items.
- Support sales activities with related work tool management and coordination.

Physical requirements must be met for the Work Tool Administrator job, including being frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
