The Volkswagen Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with Volkswagen standards and manufacturer specifications. This role requires advanced technical skills, knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles, and a customer-focused approach. The technician must be able to provide high-quality service, work efficiently, and ensure all repairs meet or exceed customer expectations.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an automotive technical training program preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a preference for experience with Volkswagen vehicles.

Certifications: Volkswagen-specific training or certifications are highly desirable.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Skills: Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment. Solid understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Strong troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical issues to customers in an understandable way.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors depending on the repair location.

Exposure to automotive chemicals, tools, and equipment in a workshop environment.
