What We’re Looking For

Fredericksburg Enterprises, Inc. is seeking self‑motivated individuals with strong customer service skills and hotel maintenance experience to join our team.

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public space, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery and/or equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry.
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.

• Advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry or apartment building maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and equipment mechanics.
• Reading and writing abilities are required to receive daily instructions and to read equipment manuals, including safety information.
• Physical requirements:
  
  frequently standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving throughout the facility; frequently handling objects and equipment; regular use of commercial chemicals; carrying, lifting, or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
