While a large company, we operate in a decentralized environment where each Profit Center (PC) is run by a Profit Center Manager as if it were a small business.

These PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized approach that respects local markets.
Moore Supply Company is one of those trade names and is looking for a Showroom Salesperson at its Fredericksburg, TX location, primarily focused on the Kerrville, TX market.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to showroom customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals, and increase profit sharing.
  • Provide hospitality and warmly welcome each customer.
  • Articulate showroom value proposition to engage, teach, and show customers the value you provide.
  • Determine customer needs, direct them to best products, discover potential hurdles, and keep the sale moving forward.
  • Leverage Hajoca technology to guide product selections, review specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Use sales reports and forecasting tools to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Enter sales orders and bids, expedite purchases, and remain engaged with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process showroom sale returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
  • Keep showroom clean, neat, current, stocked, and safely displayed.
  • Join industry associations and attend professional events to stay informed about design trends, new products, and to build business relationships.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
About You:
  • 1+ years’ experience in customer service or sales; plumbing showroom sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of showroom products preferred.
Our ideal candidate will also:
  • Be knowledgeable of kitchen and bath design trends.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) to communicate via email, maintain contact files and calendars, and create and analyze reports.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and verbal/telephone communication skills.
  • Show deep product knowledge related to kitchen/bath trends, answer customer questions, and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Overcome objections by understanding customer needs, providing targeted solutions, and closing the sale.
  • Build influential relationships and trust with key vendor partners.
  • Build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co‑workers.
  • Plan, organize, and multi‑task.
  • Learn and operate the computer systems used to process orders.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
