Breakfast Attendant

Fredericksburg Enterprises, Inc. is seeking self‑motivated individuals to assist in the preparation, documentation, and service of food to subjects in accordance with company expectations, study protocols, FDA, and Health Department standard practices and procedures.

• Sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for breakfast. Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner.
• Cleans the area around the buffet by wiping, sweeping, and/or mopping. May clean off tables prior to guest arrival.
• Sets out plates, cups, bowels, utensils, and napkins for guests to use.
• Prepares coffee and/or tea by established standards.
• Keeps juices and other perishables such as butter and yogurt chilled or on ice.
• Frequently checks for low food supply and efficiently replenishes with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying the food area as necessary.
• Removes and disposes of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift. Cleans buffet area according to established standards. Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day’s shift.
• May keep daily or weekly records of foods used and consumed.
• May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
• Greets guests and accommodates special requests as needed.
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

• Restaurant or other relevant experience.
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must be an early riser and have a flexible work schedule.
• Knowledge of food service regulations.
• Able to easily and quickly lift and carry heavy trays.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
