Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Pre/Post Op assignment in Fredericksburg, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide high-quality care for patients in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia phases
Conduct pre-op assessments, start IVs, administer medications, and prepare patients for surgery
Monitor patients in the recovery phase, manage pain, and assess for complications
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgical care and discharge instructions
Work closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff
Maintain accurate records and follow hospital protocols and safety standards

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years' recent Pre/Post Op, PACU, or surgical services experience
Strong patient assessment, IV, and medication administration skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
