Overview
Albert HOTEL is hiring for a POOL BARTENDER. Albert Hotel, located at 213 E Austin St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624, USA, is an urban oasis offering a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 guest rooms and suites, uniquely designed bunk rooms, a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches. The hotel includes a sunken limestone pool with an outdoor bar and cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa, and four on-site culinary outlets including The Restaurant ert also offers 3,600 square feet of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.
Whatyou’ll do
- Prepare and serve beverages promptly and consistently, adhering to the outlet’s recipes and procedures
- Maintain bottles, glasses, bar tools, and garnishes in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- Maintain product knowledge to inform guests of daily specials, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations upon request
- Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and send them to the kitchen; accommodate guests’ special needs, including any allergies or dietary restrictions
- Check guest identification to verify minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory, prep, and supplies
- Wash and sterilize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Maintain revenue by preparing itemized checks and collecting accurate payments from guests
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the bar, including counters, bar top, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
- Respond promptly to guest comments and concerns; inform the immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
- Limit issues and liability related to excessive drinking by responsibly serving alcohol, recognizing signs of intoxication, and taking appropriate safety measures for guests
- Assist bar management with creating beverage menus, ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining bar inventory

- You preferably have 1+ years of experience in an elevated, fast-paced bar setting
