- Be familiar with ALL plans, specifications, and submittals associated with the project you are assigned to.
- Understand how many hours are scheduled to complete your project. Must be able to plan work accordingly to stay on schedule.
- Complete required sketching and maintain completion drawings.
- Release drawing to fabrication shop.
- Take pictures to document job progress.
- Order all duct and hardware for your project.
- Management of documents including daily reports, RFI’s, project progress photos, and timecards.
- Lay-out holes as required.
- Unload materials from trucks and stage material properly.
- Inventory all shop materials, hardware, and vendor provided items to check for accuracy and damage.
- Inspect all tools and lifts to ensure that they are in proper working order.
- Order tools if/when needed.
- Coordinate with other trades when necessary.
- Lead employees assigned to your project in a safe, productive manner while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Complete employee write-ups when required.
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to.
- Attend and participate in Foremen’s meetings.
- Report time weekly for employees on your project.
