ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:
- Responsible for demonstrating and developing the skills and knowledge required for installing broadband service drops including aerial and buried drops for connecting broadband customer homes and businesses.
- Operate a vibratory plow/trencher, read, create and maintain schematics/diagrams, and bore under sidewalks and driveways when appropriate.
- Work as a self-starter, able to operate efficiently and independently to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work.
- Successfully complete drop installation and broadband service activations for customer homes and businesses.

EducationHigh School Diploma / GED
Relevant Work Experience- 2-3 Years of Field Operations or Construction related experience.
- 0-2 Years of experience in Broadband Plant Construction or burying of drops preferred
- Factors affecting environmental conditions will vary depending on the assigned work area and task.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house.
- Ability to work in an array of weather conditions.
- Walking, sitting, kneeling & crouching for extended periods.
- Driving.
Position is considered non-exempt, with a pay range between $54,308 - $60,000, plus potential overtime and on-call pay.
