Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, service, install and test Security Systems to include;
  Access Controls, CCTV and Intrusion Systems.
• Perform service and maintenance on existing systems ensuring optimal performance, Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Pull and terminate cable, mount devices, and connect panels according to manufacturer specifications.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, other technicians, and subcontractors to complete installations.
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide clear documentation of work performed.
• Conduct system training and demonstrations for customers upon completion of installation.
• Ensure compliance with all company, state, and local regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in company vehicles.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs. Participate in the on-call program.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
• 2+ years of experience in electronic security or low-voltage system installation (preferred)
• State of MA Class D Low Voltage license
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Capable of obtaining a Certificate of clearance
• Working knowledge of various systems
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts when required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
