Company Overview:
Garrett Mechanical / Sundream HVAC provides light commercial customers with maintenance services across large geographies and locations. We have small teams of expert technicians that are responsible for responded to emergency and routine maintenance requests normally within a 2-3 hr driving window from their home location. We offer competitive pay and are looking for mature technicians able to provide their expertise on a full-time or 1099 basis to our customers.

Pay range negotiable based on experience, willingness/ability to provide own tool and vehicle, and insurance coverage as a 1099.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and emergency HVAC, plumbing, and handyman service calls

• Complete paperwork and documentation/pictures in a timely manner.

• Provide input and observations to support reactive service / replacement quotes for follow on work.

• Be attentive, courteous, and responsive while working semi-autonomously.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with commercial HVAC installation, troubleshooting, service, maintenance, or repair

• Preference for bringing own work truck, tools, and additional insurance coverages

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.

• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.

• Deadline and detail-oriented.

• Ability to handle physical workload.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Familiarity with pipe threading and construction plumbing

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Maintenance Person skills for general maintenance tasks

• Certification or degree in HVAC technology is a plus
