Responsible for acquiring new aircraft insurance customers by quoting, selling, writing, and serving personal aircraft insurance for aircraft owners in a fast‑paced, high‑volume insurance brokerage. This position requires independent judgement and discretion. Primary focus is meeting and exceeding new business goals for the agency, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Must interact with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies.
- Outbound efforts include contacting customers to gather additional information, responding to internet requests for quotes, and following up on quoted customers.
- Outbound efforts also include closing new sales via outbound telemarketing to lists of target prospects.
- Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers.
- Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.
- Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel.
- Responsible for meeting individual and team monthly sales and quality goals while working in a team environment.
- Dedicates time to personal professional and job competency development.
- Completes continuing education requirements to maintain required Property/Casualty insurance license.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
