Base pay range$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr
Responsibilities- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Register sales on assigned cash register; provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
- Recommend items for sale and trade‑ups or companion items.
- Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and keep records.
- Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store manager or shift leader.
- Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
- Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
- Assist with separation of food items and product placement; rotate stock using first‑in, first‑out methods.
- Operate store systems and equipment; provide photo‑area customer service (digital passport, poster print, etc.).
- Assume web pick‑up responsibilities; monitor orders, pick items, and deliver to customers upon arrival.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store neat and orderly.
- Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers; comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Approximately six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prior work experience with Walgreens.
