Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

Hourly rate: $15.50 to $18.50 per hour. Commission structure pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.61 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

• Vacation:

  Eligible employees are granted 8 hours after 6 months of employment, then 16 hours each subsequent anniversary.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport to better provide financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise display.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods per law (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with people and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculations proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details provided during interview.
