Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with the team; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, keeps work area compliant with company policies and procedures; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored according to policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Values the member's experience in meat and models high-quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Live Better U is a company-paid education benefit program for associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart, where eligible.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
