• Part‑time (≈30 hours/week)
• Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience)

We’re seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate and experienced team. You’ll work primarily in appointments, playing a critical role in client education and patient care. If you’re a people‑person with a heart for animals and a thirst for learning, we’d love to meet you.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an animal hospital
• Venipuncture experience is required
• Comfortable using Ezvet software
• Familiarity with Idexx lab equipment
• Strong communication and client education skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vaccine protocols, and preventive care
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking feedback
• Ability to work efficiently and manage tasks independently
• Services offered at the hospital include diverse soft‑tissue surgeries, preventive care, same‑day sick appointments, and visits from a traveling orthopedic surgeon

• Professional client communication and education; obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, fecal analysis
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocols
• Patient nursing: restraining, administering medications (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandaging, IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Dental prophylaxis

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT), or ability to transfer credentials across states
• Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology
