Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) with rotating holidays and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse with strong experience in telemetry. The role requires a nurse who can float within the scope and manage a patient ratio of 1:5. Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Candidates must be prepared to deliver high-quality care while managing complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, making decisions based on patient status.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and provide support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of current experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Meditech charting system is preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
