Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a MD or compact RN license and at least three years of recent MS/Tele experience.

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts available, typically 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient ratios expected to be 1:5
• Floats may be required within clinical scope
• Rotating holiday and weekend shifts are required
• Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No block scheduling is available for this position
• Expect to work both holidays and weekends as part of rotation
• Suburban location close to Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
• Orientation will be provided for new staff

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent and strong med-surg telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
