• 40 hr. work week
• M-F, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm

Pay:

$18 - $19 per hour. Entry level position.

Position:

Metlfab is hiring for an individual who can mask and unmask parts for our paint and powder coat department while achieving consistent levels of quality per Metlfab's requirements. This individual will need to have some level of experience in this field and have the ability to read customer's engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Mask parts according to customer's engineering drawings.
• Unmask parts after paint and powder coating process.
• Maintain clean parts free of foreign debris and fingerprints.
• Touch parts up as needed.
• Putty and sand parts that require concealed hardware.
• Clean masking screws.
• Scrape/deburr areas after unmasking to achieve desired finish.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Have a steady hand and good dexterity.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as calipers, steel rule, and hobby knives.
• Must have good eyesight with a steady hand.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must have strong/clear communication skills.
• Must be able to show up and ready to work ON TIME EVERY DAY.
• Must be able to work with others in a team setting.
• Must be able to read and fluently speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
