Material Handler

Overview

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Material Handler for a prominent client.

Location:

Frederick, MD.

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr depending on experience

Contract: 10 months with possible extension and/or conversion

Shift: rotating 4-10's

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily activities.
• Performs receiving, picking, shipping, equipment monitoring and material control. Revises SOPs. Initiates and completes deviations, as required. Provides leadership to other team members.
• Primary responsibilities, but these individuals could also take on some Material Handler II and III responsibilities, which can be seen below:
• Picks for production at FMC
• Picks / delivery for production at GPF
• General supply maintenance
• Receiving, deliveries, material shipments
• Paper/Fed Ex supplies in admin area
• Routine cleaning
• Material handling equipment / fleet maintenance
• Cycle counts

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Forklift experience
