Overview

The Deputy Project Manager learns how to supervise and direct employees on a project, prepare strategic plans and budgets, develop comprehensive project plans, and analyze statistical data.

Compensation: USD $ - USD $ annually

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day project operations
• Identify and resolve change orders effectively
• Price, track, and manage change orders
• Monitor cash flow and expenses
• Maintain as-builts and document issues
• Plan project completion and punch list
• Set goals, prioritize, and organize work
• Interpret blueprints and specifications
• Research, compile submittals, and prepare estimates
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues
• Represent the company externally and communicate effectively
• Understand decision timelines and document communications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering (preferred EE or related) with 5+ years of experience
• Experience in electrical/construction projects ($500,000 to $10M)
• Knowledge of contract documents and project scheduling
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, PDF tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Accubid Estimating or similar
• Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling proficiency
• Willingness to travel as needed

• Finger dexterity for manipulating objects and using a keyboard

Pay Range: USD $ - USD $ per year
