Data Analyst, Data Scientist
We are seeking a Digital Technology Data Scientist Lead to join a high-impact Data Science Center of Excellence. This is an individual contributor role designed for a technically strong, business-savvy data scientist who thrives at the intersection of analytics, engineering, and stakeholder engagement.
You will not only build advanced models—you will partner directly with business leaders, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and clearly communicate insights that influence strategic decisions.
This role requires someone who can:
- Gather and translate business requirements into analytical solutions
- Build and deploy predictive models
- Tell compelling stories with data
- Mentor peers and elevate best practices
- Operate comfortably in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
This is not a heads-down technical role—you will be highly visible and embedded in business conversations.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Analytics & Model Development
- Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
- Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Integrate models into enterprise systems or build new digital capabilities
- Drive data quality improvement and resolve data-related incidents
Business Engagement & Communication
- Partner with supply chain, operations, engineering, and other business teams
- Translate business challenges into scalable data science solutions
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate measurable business impact from implemented solutions
- Lead complex data science initiatives from concept through deployment
- Mentor team members on modeling, analytics best practices, and emerging technologies
- Contribute to the enterprise data science strategic roadmap
- Support a Center of Excellence culture across the organization
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (primary), R, or C
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark
- Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel (pivot tables, analysis)
- Machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics expertise
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data
- Ability to deploy and integrate models into enterprise systems
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform
- Familiarity with LLMs (open or closed models)
- Experience with RAG architecture
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field
Required Experience
- B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience OR
- M.S. with 3+ years of relevant experience
